Let medals speak

The warning issued India’s sports minister Vijay Goel by organisers at Rio — that his privileges will be withdrawn if people accompanying him do not end their aggressive and rude behaviour — shows India in a poor light. We would do well to let our sportspersons do the talking by exhibiting their talent instead of grabbing headlines for the wrong reasons.
