Kudos to Dipa

Dipa Karmakar has created history and has made all of us proud by becoming the first Indian woman ever to qualify to compete in gymnastics at the Olympics. It is a great effort by Dipa and she needs to be encouraged. It is a pity that gymnastics does not get as much recognition in India as various varieties of cricket. The government should take steps to focus on other sports. We pray that Dipa wins gold at Rio Olympics.
