Gurudas Kamat’s resignation from the AICC may undermine the Congress in Maharashtra. This comes soon after former Chhattisgarh chief minister Ajit Jogi’s announcement that he will launch a new political party. Before Mr Jogi it was Himanta Biswa Sarma in Assam who quit the Congress.
