India bagged the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup. In a sport which they dominated since the 1990 Asian Games, India managed to have the measure of a spirited Iranian side who threatened to run amuck and even led 18-13 at half time. India found their heroes in “Super Raider” Ajay Thakur and Nitin Tomar who put up a splendid show to steer their side to glory.
