Inexcusable selfie

While the NCW sent a notice to actor Salman Khan for his rape analogy, Somya Gurjar, a member of the Rajasthan State Commission for Women, was taking selfies with a rape victim. How can a member of a body responsible for ensuring justice to women be so careless It is well-known that a rape victim's identity needs to be kept confidential at all costs. Ms Gurjar’s excuse — that she was trying to help the victim open up by being friendly and clicking a selfie with her — is flawed.
