The impasse in Kashmir continues over the PDP-BJP alliance even after Mehbooba Mufti has taken over from her father. While she is within her political rights to play the waiting game, spare a thought for the Kashmiri people who came out in large numbers and participated in the government formation. It is high time that Ms Mufti takes a call. An elongated Governor’s Rule is not a good sign for the already troubled state.
