Good times over

The news of the breakup of Indo-Swiss duo Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis, who swept women’s doubles tennis by storm, is heartbreaking but it has also come at the right time. SanTina, who swept everything before them, in 2015, seemed to have lost rhythm as the pair lost out to unseeded pairs and fell out early in the French Open and in Wimbledon. This clearly showed that something was amiss. Like all good things come to an end, this pair’s 41-match winning streak too has ended.
