Ajit Jogi has stated that making Chhattisgarh “Raman-free” will be his priority. As the state’s first chief minister, his tenure was marred by allegations of him making false claims of being an adivasi and the murder of a prominent businessman. Unlike him, the BJP’s Raman Singh won three terms by making Chhattisgarh the first state with 24-hour power supply and food security laws. Mr Jogi should get real about his political prospects.
