Germany defeated Italy 6-5 on penalties and managed to qualify for the UEFA Euro 2016 semi-finals in their bid to win the fourth European Championship. It was the first time Germany beat Italy at a major final since the 1962 World Cup. Jonas Hector was the saviour who made the ninth kick for the team. The match between France and Germany would be a must-watch as France, which has never defeated Germany in a competitive football fixture, looks determined to push out Germany after its fiery win over Wales.
