The Uttarakhand crisis is the worst example of how the Centre can usher in political instability in a state. A day before the Harish Rawat government was to prove its majority, the Centre imposed President’s Rule. What has the Bharatiya Janata Party gained out of this A political crisis and a bucketful of criticism from allies and opponents alike. This is the worst form of politics. Attacking and criticising rival parties is acceptable, but abject disrespect to the people’s mandate is worrying. The BJP is to be blamed for creating political instability and anarchy in the country.
