Films uncut

With reference to your editorial, Film revolution (April 27), I would like to say that I welcome the radical changes proposed by the Shyam Benegal committee on the functioning of the Central Board of Film Certification — from movie content certification to rationing the censor board’s power to decide what is good and what is bad for society in a movie. It’s high time we hauled up the censor board. The government should back these recommendations.
