Roger Federer’s semi-finals defeat at the hands of Canada’s Milos Raonic is shocking. Federer was cruising with a two-set lead before Raonic started gaining points. Though he was able to finish the match despite slipping and hurting his left ankle, Federer’s double faults on two occasions were inexplicable. He lost his serve and rhythm in the fourth set and was unable to make a comeback.
