The education joke

After the toppers scam in Bihar, news of at least four schools that exist only on paper but are nowhere to be found on the ground is a shocking statement on the state of education in Bihar. Some schools, which have been affiliated for two to three years, are actually autorickshaw stands in Bihar! The Mahagathbandhan government should do something about this. Schools, which should be temples of learning, have been sadly reduced to commercial licensing arrangements in a state which, ironically, has the largest number of students sitting for entrance exams.
