The political crisis in Nepal is the result of an internal crisis as Maoist leader Prachanda is trying to oust Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli. While the attempt has been stalled, it is bizarre on the part of Nepalese leaders to accuse New Delhi of trying to destabilise the Oli government. While India has expressed concern over Nepal’s overtures to China, this doesn’t give Nepal licence to accuse India of interfering in its internal matters. Nepal should get its act together.
