Asking a Jain monk to come to the Haryana Assembly for a religious discourse cannot be regarded as a healthy event. Tarun Sagar may be revered as a saint by his followers, but his teachings cannot be above constitutional provisions as far as governance is concerned. Since he happens to be from a religious minority, some of the minority-appeasing state governments may bring religious leaders of Islam or Christianity to hear their discourse on jihad or evangelism. Any such event may result in chaos and divide the people further on religious lines. How would the BJP oppose such misfortune technically and morally
