BJP’s Delhi jinx

The BJP’s decline in Delhi continues as it lost four of the seven seats held by it in the MCD bypolls held on May 15. After a clean sweep in the 2014

Lok Sabha elections, the BJP couldn’t capitalise on the anti-Congress wave and lost the Delhi Assembly elections to the AAP. The AAP has again secured the highest number of seats in the MCD bypolls. Even the much weakened Congress Party secured four seats. This shows that the BJP is losing ground in Delhi.
