Bang and Whimper

Apropos your editorial, An irresponsible CM (Sept. 10), the Aam Aadmi Party promised to be the cleanest political party in the country. It began with a big win in Delhi. By now, it is indistinguishable from the rest of parties except that its decay has been the fastest. Its drawback is that it is led by a leader with narcissistic characteristics, centralised power and over- ambitious plans. Arvind Kejriwal has failed in making Delhi a model of good governance. It is sad because India does need a political outfit above caste and religious prejudices which is capable of providing an honest and effective administration.
