Wasbir Hussain is right in questioning the relevance of the Asom Gana Parishad in his article, Hijacking regionalism (January 19). In Assam, infighting and desertions have left the AGP in trouble. It has been repeatedly defeated in elections since 2001. Only a miracle can save the AGP in 2016.
