Act like the British

Apropos the editorial, Cameron’s good example (Sept.15), former British Prime Minister David Cameron’s decision to resign from his seat in Parliament, stating that with the circumstances of his resignation, it was not possible to be a backbench MP as a former PM, is yet another example of his high moral standards. Our lawmakers often quote the provisions of the British Constitution and British parliamentary conventions to make their point. They need to emulate British lawmakers in setting high standard of probity in public life.
