AAP’s trial by fire

The attack on Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal’s vehicle in Ludhiana, Punjab, shows that the main political contenders in Punjab — the Congress, the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Shiromani Akali Dal — are worried about the Aam Aadmi Party’s rising influence in the state’s hinterland. The use of muscle power shall only increase the AAP’s appeal in Punjab.
