: In a shocking incident, the UK police have arrested the owner of Blinks of Bicester, a hairdressing salon, after she posted ‘racist remarks’ on her Facebook page.
The 43-year-old woman, popularly known as April Major, posted a comment saying that Muslims were no longer welcomed at her salon after the devastating terror attacks in Paris by alleged ISIS militants. She wrote that Muslim customers were banned from taking appointments at her salon, Blinks of Bicester.
Her Facebook post which was later deleted, read, “Blinks of Bicester are no longer taking bookings from anyone from the Islamic faith whether you are UK granted with passport or not”, adding “Sorry but time to put my country first”.

The post received a lot of criticism, after which she defended herself by saying that she was ‘not a racist’. The accused was arrested by Themes Valley police officials, and the same was confirmed on their Facebook page.
She was arrested under section 19 of the Public Order Act that states “use of words or behaviour/display of written material intended to stir up religious hatred” is a crime. Howoever, she is released on bail till November 30, reported DailyMail.
