Pakistan has decided to cancel passports of the proscribed outfits’ members and shut their bank accounts, officials said on Tuesday.

Pakistan interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Kh-an said the government will block national identity cards and withdraw state facilities including driving licenses, issuance of mobile phone SIMs and permission to operate bank accounts of the proscribed organisations’ activists.

Under the decision, the travelling documents of members of banned organisation placed under the Watch List (4th Schedule) of the federal government and human smugglers would also be cancelled to restrict their movement.
