Horrifying video shows 15-year-old boy gored by huge bull at a festival in Spain

The video shows a young boy being gored by the huge animal as scared onlookers scream in terror.

A 15-year-old school boy was brutally gored by a bull at a festival in Spain early on Sunday after he lost balance and tripped over as the animal charged towards him.

The incident took place in Costa Blanca holiday resort of Calpe.

A horrifying video of the incident, captured by an onlooker, has surfaced online. The video shows the young boy being gored by the huge animal, as scared onlookers scream in terror, while trying to save the victim.

However, people somehow managed to save the boy and took him to a nearby hospital where he is being treated for minor injuries. The victim suffered an injury to his left armpit, doctors said.

This incident comes barely a day after a girl was attacked by a bull in Museros in the eastern province of Valencia. Although the girl managed to survive, she suffered a four-inch wound to her knee and is being treated at a hospital.

Last month, a Spanish bullfighter, Victor Barrio, became the first to die in the bull ring in three decades, after being gored to death in front of horrified spectators during a corrida in the eastern town of Teruel.

Victor Barrio, 29, died Saturday evening of injuries to the chest after being struck by the horn of a bull weighing over 500 kilogrammes (1,100 pounds) and tossed into the air. His death was shown during live broadcast of the event.
