Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chief Bilawal Bhutto will announce his future political strategy on March 26, aimed at reorganising the party for the 2018 polls.

Close aides have proposed to bring in caretaker setup by dissolving all the organisations of the PPP across the country on April 4.

The PPP chief will launch anti-corruption campaign across the country and the party leaders allegedly involved in corruption will not be spared, sources said.

In a recent meeting, Mr Bilawal Bhutto ordered senior office-bearers of the party to get ready for general elections as it is scheduled to be held in 2018.

The sources said the PPP chief would announce his political strategy in connection with national issues during his political gathering in Rahimyar Khan on March 26.

Sources added that after political meeting on March 26, Mr Bhutto would pass most of his time in Lahore while preparations have been completed to reorganise PPP.

Earlier, Mr Bhutto said that the struggle launched by Zulfikar Ali Bhutto for democracy and for restoration of democracy by former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto was still continuing and “we shall strive hard to strengthening of the democratic system put into place by our Party founders with so many sacrifices.”

He said dictatorial forces would try to weaken the democracy but the PPP and other true democratic and progressive political parties would jointly foil such designs with the support of the general masses of the country.
