: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a visit to his constituency, flagged off Mahamana Superfast Express which will run from Varanasi to New Delhi. He addressed a gathering at the event and said his government is “constantly thinking about how development will reach the poor and how their lives can be transformed.”

Modi gifted wheelchairs,electronic aids and skill certificates to differently abled people at the event and asserted his government was committed to the cause of making their lives better.
\"As a society, we have to ensure that together we have to care for all those who are differently abled,\" he said.

Modi also expressed sadness over the bus accident, where 22 differently abled persons, who were on their way to his event, were injured.
