Sonia Gandhi in US for regular medical check-up: Congress

: Congress President Sonia Gandhi has gone to the United States for a regular medical check-up and will return after a week, her party said on Monday.

\"She has gone to the US for a regular, routine check-up. She will return after a week,\" party's chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said here.

Party sources said the 68-year-old leader's check-up was due for the past two months and got delayed due to Bihar Assembly polls.
