Mumbai: Actor Sanjay Dutt was on Tuesday granted a 14-day parole by Yerawada Jail authorities on account of medical reasons.The Supreme Court in March had sentenced Dutt to five years jail under the Terrorist and Disruptive Activities Act (TADA) for illegal possession of a 9mm pistol and an AK-56 assault rifle in connection with the 1993 Mumbai blasts case.Pune police had rejected his earlier plea for 30-day parole.In 1993, he was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment by a TADA court, but was released on bail. In July 2007 he was sentenced to six years rigorous imprisonment.
