New Delhi: Claiming that the Bahujan Samaj Party is the “only party” in the country which has no ill-gotten money, its supremo Ms Mayawati on Saturday continued her tirade against the Modi government over its demonetisation decision.

Alleging that the ruling BJP at the Centre managed to settle its “do number ka paisa” (black money) in the past 10 months when the demonetisation move was conceived, Ms Mayawati claimed the “so ill conceived, half baked and immature” demonetisation decision, which has affected 90 per cent of the common man, will lead the BJP to a “permanent political exile” in Uttar Pradesh in the coming Assembly polls.

Hitting back, the BJP claimed it seems all the money the BSP supremo had collected by “selling” party tickets in elections have gone waste with demonetisation and asserted that the Centre’s demonetisation decision has hit at the roots of politicians-bureaucrats nexus in “looting” public money.

Taking a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Ms Mayawati said he was scared to address the Opposition in the Parliament and said that since her party is the “main challenge” to BJP in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh elections, its leaders were making baseless statements against the BSP.
