BHUBANESWAR: Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday said the outcome of the assembly election results in five states showed the mood of the nation.

“I congratulate the Congress, the TRS and MNF for their electoral victory. This shows these states that have gone for elections are predominantly agrarian states. The central BJP government has done very little for the farmers as regards minimum support price (MSP) and implementation of MS Swaminathan Committee recommendations. The NDA government has ignored the farmers,” Mr Patnaik told reporters here in the evening.
