Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samiti president K. Chandrashekhar Rao has predicted that N. Kiran Kumar Reddy will not be Chief Minister beyond October 6 and that he would be removed before then. Chandrasekhar Rao was addressing the Sakala Janula Bheri public meeting, organised by the Telangana Political JAC at Nizam College Grounds on Sunday. The entire area was filled to capacity while hundreds of others stood on the adjacent roads. Chandrasekhar Rao said that in the wake of the Congress high command's announcement on the state’s division, as the Chief Minister, Kiran Kumar Reddy should convince the people of both regions as the process should be smooth or he should quit his post. The TRS chief criticised the Chief Minister, Telugu Desam chief N. Chandrababu Naidu and YSR Congress president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. He said lakhs of Kirans, Chandrababus and Jagans could not stop Telangana from being formed. Demanding the formation of Telangana state at the earliest, he asked the UPA government at the Centre not to get carried away with the \"artificial\" Samaikyandhra agitation, backed by Kiran Kumar Reddy. People from both regions in the state were divided vertically after the Congress leader's announcement on the state's division. At such a juncture, was it possible to live together, Chandrasekhar Rao questioned. He alleged that the Chief Minister was telling lies on the issue of the state's division. When he should be voicing the problems of both regions, he was highlighting the problems of one alone, ignoring the injustices done to Telangana in the last several decades. NDA led by BJP will give us T-state: KCR “Kiran is behaving like a chairman of the Andhra JAC, not as the CM of Andhra Pradesh,” TRS chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao commented during the Sakala Janula Bheri public meeting on Sunday. He said that after the Congress high command’s announcement of the state’s division, Naidu had asked for a Rs 4-lakh crore package for Seemandhra, but that package should actually be given to the Telangana region. He questioned as to how many U-turns Naidu will take on the issue of bifurcation. Chandrasekhar Rao demanded the Centre to declare the Palamuru and Pranahita-Chevella irrigation projects as national projects in the Telangana region. Chandrasekhar Rao said that Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy was demanding justice for both areas, but there was no justice in the YSRC’s demands. While praising Telangana police constable Srinivas, who was beaten at the APNGOs’ meeting, held recently at Hyderabad, Chandrasekhar Rao questioned APNGOs’ president P. Ashok Babu as to how they could beat a government employee for raising a slogan. If that was the reason, then how many times should the CM be beaten for repeatedly raising the slogan ‘Jai Samaikyandhra ’Chandrasekhar Rao told the people of Telan-gana not to lose confidence. “There is an alternative for us; the NDA, led by the BJP, will give us T-state.” Telangana political JAC chairman M. Kodandaram and others also addressed the gathering.
