Pakistan-based amalgam of Kashmiri militant groups United Jihad Council (UJC) has termed Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s, Lahore visit a part of “conspiracy” aimed at hoodwinking the world and inflicting defeat to Islamabad on diplomatic front.
Sheikh Jameel-ur-Rehman, UJC general secretary and chief of Tehrik-ul-Mujahideen outfit, in a statement mailed to this newspaper said Mr Modi has visited Lahore at a time when preparations to construct Ram Mandir at the site of Babri masjid in Ayodhya were on and he has publicly hailed the massacre of Pakistan’s friends in Bangladesh and joined hands with Pakistan’s enemies in Afghanistan.
“India has in the past seven decades while firmly pursuing Chanakiya-Niti killed more than 500,000 Kashmiris and thousands of other Muslims elsewhere in India. It has always deceived Pakistan,” he alleged. The statement also says, “While seeking to resume dialogue with Pakistan, New Delhi has continued to kill Muslims in India and now the interests of Muslims are being harmed not only in the country, Afghanistan and Bangladesh but also in other SAARC nations in the name of fighting terrorism”.
