Pollachi sex scandal: TN Police tranfers case to CB-CID, 4 arrested

Coimbatore: Coimbatore police filed and transferred the Pollachi sex scandal case to Crime Branch-Criminal Investigation Department (CB-CID), Tamil Nadu DGP T K Rajendran said on Tuesday.

Superintendent of police (SP) R Pandiarajan informed that four accused were arrested and remanded under the Goonda Act.

In the recent, ill-famous Pollachi sex scandal, more than 50 women were lured and sexually harassed by a gang of four.

Moreover, the immoral act was also videographed by the accused.

Earlier, Pandiarajan ruled out the involvement of any politician in the case as it was speculated in social media.
