Keonjgar: A youth under Soso police limits in Keonjhar district diagnosed as HIV+ve committed suicide after he was allegedly denied treatment by a local hospital. Body of the youth was on Tuesday found hanging from a tree near the village pond.

Following the incident, father of the youth lodged a police complaint alleging negligence on the part of hospitals. As per reports, the youth working as an iron smith in Puducherry met with a road accident two months back and received severe injuries on his leg and hand. However, while undergoing treatment in a hospital in Puducherry, he was tested HIV+ve.
