J&K: Rs 1.92 lakh seized from 10 gamblers arrested in raid in Samba district

Jammu: Ten people were arrested on Thursday on charges of gambling from Jammu and Kashmir's Bari Brahmana area in Samba district and Rs 1.92 lakh was seized from them, the police said.
On a tip-off, a police party raided a place at Telli Basti and arrested them.Playing cards and Rs 1,92,000 was seized from the accused, who were booked under the Public Gambling Act, an officer said.
The matter is being investigated, the police said.
