Robot to greet PM, guests

A trilingual robot is likely to welcome PM Narendra Modi at the UP Investors’ Summit on Wednesday.

The robot, built specially for the two-day summit, is fluent in three languages — Hin-di English and Sanskrit — and will welcome guests at the event.

The robot is also an added security feature and will “keep an eye” on all participants.

The company which designed the robot calls it an “Artificial Intelligence Humanoid” which can imitate human habits by creating a database.
