New Delhi: A fire broke out on Monday in the basement of Ashoka Hotel in Chanakyapuri area.

Seven fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the blaze is now under control.

District Disaster Management Authority, Vinod Bhardwaj said, "The fire which had broken out in the basement of Ashoka Hotel in Chanakyapuri is under control. It broke out in the record room of Central Bank of India. No damage of documents has been reported."
