Home minister Rajnath Singh will inaugurate the, BOLD-QIT (Border Electronically Dominated QRT Interception Technique) project which is part of the Comprehensive Integ-rated Border Mana-gement System (CIBMS).

The project will cover sand islands and a number of river channels, which makes border guarding a difficult task, particularly during the rainy season. In order to deal with this problem, the home ministry had in 2017 decided to put in place a technological solution in addition to physical presence of Border Security Force (BSF) personnel. The information and technology wing of the BSF had in January 2018 started project BOLD-QIT and completed it in record time.
