A town in Kent, UK, could be forced to keep its Christmas tree until February after council workers removing decorations found a collared dove and her egg in the branches.

Because of the UK law, ‘legal protection afforded nesting birds’, the tree in Paddock Wood may have to remain in place until mid-February when the chicks are fully fl edged.
