Natalie Cole passes away at 65

Iconic R&B and jazz star Natalie Cole has died at the age of 65, people magazine reported.

The Grammy winner, daughter of the late jazz legend Nat King Cole, died of complications from an ongoing health condition at Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on December 31, according to the Associated Press.

“Natalie fought a fierce, courageous battle, dying how she lived... with dignity, strength and honour. Our beloved Mother and sister will be greatly missed and remain unforgettable in our hearts forever,” his children wrote in a statement.
