Andie’s first-class airline boot

Andie MacDowell tweeted about her frustration about being demoted from first-class on an airline on Sunday and was promptly met with criticism for complaining about “first world problems” from Twitter users.

Andie had tweeted, “@AmericanAir Help! I paid for first class and they put me in tourist because of my dog that I pre-booked and paid for.” While she wasn’t given back her first-class seat, Andie was also criticised for asking for a refund for her ticket. However, she responded later, tweeting, “Lessons learned: never complain on Twitter and don’t pay for first class on American Airlines, only express gratitude... can we move on now.”
