Leading man of Bhabhii Ghar Par Hai,  Aashif Sheikh, will be seen as a tawaif in the show.  In the show, Anita quarrels with Vibhuti (played by Aashif) and throws him out of the house for being a good-for-nothing. In order to prove himself, Vibhuti seeks help from tawaif Gulfam Kali and she turns him into one.

Aashif’s has dressed in traditional garara-kurta for the role and even danced to Kaanta Lagaa. When we contacted Aashif, he said, “Playing a woman is always challenging, so the idea got me excited from the word go. The creatives were hesitant to ask me to play a tawaif but I took them by surprise when I said yes. I have taken great pains to look convincing as a tawaif and I guess the effort paid off. Everyone on the sets loved the look. My fans will be surprised and I can’t wait to see their reaction.”
