Mumbai: Popular TV actress Tina Dutta has recently accused her co-star Mohit Malhotra of inappropriately touching her during the shoot of their daily soap, Daayan.

SpotBoyE report claims she was seen crying on the sets of the show and has even complained to the producer about it. In an interaction with the leading entertainment portal, Tina revealed: “He would say that his character demands that he should keep his hand here and there. There was a big showdown on the set. It happened at Klick Nixon Studios, when we're shooting for a hospital scene. Some media people were also there and they saw this. Of course. I made it loud and clear. I have done rape scenes, romantic scenes and intimate scenes before in my career, but never faced something like this with anyone before. He is so annoying. He is so frustrated.”

The ‘Uttaran’ actress also claimed that Mohit refused to change his behaviour despite being warned by the makers. Tina further added, “It was going on since a long time. I went public only after it became so much that I couldn’t take it anymore. Nobody gives excuses like him that ‘woh scene mein bahek gaya tha’. He can’t say he got carried away. He was obviously doing it deliberately.”

MeToo movement in India was started by actress Tanushree Dutta who had accused Nana Patekar of sexual misconduct during the shoot of the film, Horn Ok Pleasss (2008). So far celebs like Alok Nath, Sajid Khan and other names have come under the scanner of this movement.
