Washington D.C.: Rapper Pitbull is the latest celebrity to lend a helping hand to the victims of Hurricane Maria.
The 'I Know You Want Me' artist sent his private plane to Puerto Rico to transport cancer patients back to the U.S. to receive their chemotherapy treatments.
In a statement to E! Online on Tuesday, the 36-year-old said, "Thank God we're blessed to help. Just doing my part."
"Thanks to singer @pitbull for lending your private plane to transport cancer patients from PR to USA so that they can get chemo," Puerto Rico Congresswoman Jenniffer Gonzalez-Colon tweeted in Spanish on Tuesday.
Hurricane Maria has been the most powerful storm to hit Puerto Rico in almost a century.
Earlier this week, Puerto Rican superstar Jennifer Lopez pledged $1 million of the proceeds from her Las Vegas show to help residents on the island.
