'O Bandhobi' fame Jayanta Roy is Bollywood's new rising talent

Jayanta has been signed as music director on upcoming film projects and will make his Bollywood debut soon.

Mumbai: Jayanta Roy, a 27-years-old musician, recently won many young hearts with his mesmerising “O Bandhobi”.

In 2008, this boy stood 6th in State in his 10th standard and in 2010, stood 3rd in State in 12th standard examination. He started his musical career professionally during study in NRS Medical College through formation of a Band.

After few works as composer, in 2017 he did his singing debut in “Sobari Kichu Golpo Thake” released from Times Music and got huge appreciations for this song. His recently released song – “O Bandhobi” , composed & written by him and sung by Rupak Tairy, brought him into flashlight .The song got viral and love theme song among the young generation.

He has previously worked with National award winning singer Rupankar Bagchi, Sundeep Gosswami (composer of Darshan Raval’s Barish Lete Ana) and many other well-known artists. He also got popular in the name of Ghuriwala in social networks for his writings and poems.
