Lindsay Lohan is nowhere to be seen on the silver screen despite the successful start to her career, and she admits that she longs for the good old days. However, she is grounded and says that where she actually found peace was when she was away from the spotlight.

Talking to E!News at the Cannes amfAR Gala, the 30-year-old actress said, “Yeah, I miss it,” and added, “I think there’s a lot of noise that we deal with, so I found a kind of peace in life working with children and helping other people that really interest me.”

Reflectively, she said, “I think it’s important for us to recognise that all of this stuff is fun, but you have to take time for you.”

Her career took a blow due to several legal and personal problems, and her infamous car crash got her to go through several hours of community service. During the eight years of her probation, the actress has done quite a bit of charity work and gave back to society in various ways.
