London: Molly Peters, the actress who played Nurse Patricia Fearing opposite Sean Connery in James Bond film 'Thunderball', has died. She was 75.

Her death was announced on the official James Bond Twitter account, which read, "We are sad to hear that Molly Peters has passed away at the age of 75. Our thoughts are with her family."

Peters was the first ever Bond girl to strip on-screen and her scenes with Connery had landed the 1965 film in trouble with the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC).

The news of her death comes close on the heels of the passing of Bond star Roger Moore.

Despite working in a Bond film, Peters' career didn't take off apparently due to a contractual disagreement with her agent.
