Rohit Shetty's police-mania continued with films like Singham, Simmba and Sooryavanshi. And now, the director has found a title for a film, which could potentially bring the biggest names in Bollywood together for a single cop movie – Aaya Police.

Rohit Shetty would likely have been a cop had he not been a film director, guaging by his love for movies about men in uniform.

His debut film Zameen, was about two uniformed officers, played by Ajay Devgn and Abhishek Bachchan. His police-mania continued with films like Singham, Simmba and Sooryavanshi. And now, the director has found a title for a film, which could potentially bring the biggest names in Bollywood together for a single cop movie – Aaya Police.

Sources at the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA) confirmed that Shetty had indeed registered the title last week for the film under his production house, Rohit Shetty Picturez LLP. “There was this song in Simmba called Aala Re Aala which has the line ‘ae aaya police’. Deepika Padukone was also seen saying that and cheering for Ranveer in the film, and it had gone viral. Rohit thought it is a pretty good name for a movie and has registered the title,” the sources said.
