Alia Bhatt quietly left for a trip with a friend on Tuesday night. She is said to be going again on an all-girls trip with her friends to celebrate the New Year outside the country.

“My plan for the New Year is a girl’s trip. My best friend is getting married and hence we want to celebrate,” says the actress. So where is she going? “That’s undisclosed. Now I cannot give that out,” guffaws the actress, who celebrated Christmas with her family before leaving for the trip.

Alia often goes out on trips with her girl gang and this time the reason is also an important one rather than just being a mere holiday of sorts. Interestingly, her alleged boyfriend Sidharth Malhotra also bumped into her during one of her trips earlier.

This time round, though, chances of an encounter abroad seem slim. “I have no plans for the New Year except to promote my film Aiyaary that is coming to screen on January 26,” Sidharth clarified.
