Anil Kapoor’s family threw him a lavish birthday bash in London as he turned 60 years young on December 24. While the entire extended clan of Anil’s family, from his wife and children, to his brother Sanjay Kapoor and wife Maheep, along with his distant relatives and close friends were present, Anil’s elder brother Boney Kapoor was missing in action. The fact that the man, who was responsible for giving shape to Anil’s career initially, was missing, caught everyone’s attention at the party.

Naturally, tongues were set off wagging about a possible fall-out between the two brothers. However, Anil set the record straight, explaining that Boney had work to attend to. “Aisa kuch bhi nahin hai,” he said. “The only reason Boney couldn’t come to London for the party was because he had extremely important appointments back home, including one with A.R. Rahman. We Kapoors have always put work ahead of our personal lives.”
