2016 was a year where we saw numerous couples parting ways, like Farhan Akhtar-Aduna Akhtar, Malaika Arora Khan-Arbaaz Khan and numerous others. 

Actor-music composer Himesh Reshammiya also filed for divorce from his wife of 22 years, Komal, earlier this month. At the time, it was also reported that one of the reasons for the split was Himesh’s affair with television actress Sonia Kapoor, a rumour which had started in 2006. Komal had, however, denied that the affair was to be blamed and had called Sonia ‘a family member’.

However, Himesh made his first public appearance with Sonia in a while at Salman Khan’s birthday bash held at his Panvel farmhouse on Tuesday. The couple was seen arriving together in the same car and didn’t seem to be too concerned about the presence of shutterbugs covering Salman’s bash. The filing of the divorce could be one of the reasons why the pair has now decided to be seen together in public.

On the professional front, Himesh’s recent album has managed to garner a good response with even Salman’s rumoured girlfriend Iulia Vantur rendering one of the tracks.
